The objective of Bloggy Bloggy Car Park

   ·         Promoting a better car park system that helps student and college in ensuring car park availability 

SEGi College Subang Jaya's current car park situation

SEGi College Subang Jaya's car park currently is very limited and is not an advance in technology kind of a car park in this century especially for the students as well as for the employees. Every day, students and employees who attends college at the peak hour (11am - 4pm) will have a hard time finding for a parking. It could take them up to half an hour or even more which then leads them in double parking or illegal parking at the SEGi's car park.

As we all know double parking is illegal and it could cause a massive jam as well as time wastage for the owner of the car who is double parked. There are students or employees that double parks their car but does not leave any contact details for emergencies. Hence, other people's time will be waste and could lead to frustration. Plus, students and employees would have to park their car in Summit Shopping Mall next to SEGi Subang Jaya. Its an inconvenient for pedestrians who needs to get from College to Summit (Vise Versa) when it rains without a covered walk way.

Currently, SEGi College Subang Jaya's car park is not considered as a high or advance in technology. Hence, with this blog, our group has several ideas on how SEGi could improve their car park situation. With the ideas we have, we hope that SEGi will take into consideration as it will give a fair benefit to everyone including the students, employees as well as giving a better name to SEGi College Subang Jaya.




DESIGN

Multi-tier car park is designed to fit around the surrounding spaces along Segi College Subang Jaya surrounding to offer easy accessibility to students and help them save time when looking for parking.

This is the proposed design for the multi-tier car park...

The proposed car park will be 4 levels high with a hydraulic lift to place and lower the cars.

Car park light sensor 

We also proposed that the lower car park in Segi College Subang Jaya should have sensor lights to indicate whether the space is available or taken. This

CAR PARK CARD

The card below enables students to reload it online and allow the access to the car park.

AUTO PAY MACHINE

The auto pay machine will be mainly for visitors and students who do not have the car park card. This auto pay machine helps them to car park access and to clear their car park ticket. 

LOTS INDICATOR

This lots indicator enable students to check on the car park lots availability. It serves as a very convenient tool for both students, lecturers and also visitors. Besides that, it saves time and energy in finding a car park lot.

HELP MONITOR 

 Next it would be the help monitor. The help monitor will be place near the car park lift in every floor. This monitor would help to tell you where your car is placed and which floor it is located at.  Its for the safety purpose and also to help the students to be aware of what is happening in the car park.

THE DISABLE PARKING 

 As for the OKU parking there will be a pole and a card system where only the disable person would have the cars. Where before the person parks the car the person needs to touch the card and then the pole will be open for them.

CONCLUSION

All the above proposal are to address the current problem in Segi Subang Jaya car park and also upgrade the current car park to become a 21st century car full of modern and technological advancements.
